2nd Choice Santorini Stones are the less perfect Santorinis that remain after I have sorted the stones. They are less perfect but still beautiful stones!
Santorini Marble Stones are a natural product and like any type of stone, they sometimes contain imperfections, stones with minor imperfections are sold as 2nd Choice. Look here for examples with detailed photos of the imperfections that can occur.

A set of 2nd Choice Santorini Stones may contain small imperfections, such as colored (orange/brown/gray) spots/veins on the side or the top/bottom, they sometimes have a less bright color or some scratches/minor damage. A 4.5 kg set contains different sizes and shapes of Santorinis, so the number of stones per set will differ, on average there are 35 stones in a set.

I select all stones manually, one by one, but despite careful selection it may happen that a stone is slightly longer or shorter than the indicated size.

Santorini Stones are suitable for any medium. Paint, pens, markers, pencil, ink, decoupage, watercolor, mixed media, it’s all possible, the possibilities are endless. Gesso or any other form of priming is not necessary. The bright white color makes your colors stand out beautifully and markers and brushes risk less damage due to the smooth surface.
